Lemme tell you about Lucas Mirage- ex-cop on Dablo. (this is in a home brew setting that was a mix of Trigun, Outlaw Start, Borderlands, and Cowboy Bebop; affectionatly called Tri-start Bebop Lands by my group).

Lucas had 8 kids with his wife. She brought home the dough for food and the like being a bounty hunter in the galaxy at large, he stayed at 'home' and helped as a cop. After a while, she got crazy and (of course) became a red-headed SOUL SUCKING bitch (Please not the big words). After some time in the world and gaining fame in as a merc in a new company; Lucas found one of his kids (the youngest daughter, and she had daddy's temper too boot). Que a life changing decision and BAM! new character goals.

Longer story now not quite as long (and its still super simplified even here) Lucas ran into his wife again, except this time she was running with a cult of CRAZY DEMON WORSHIPPERS. and could LITTERLY RIP YOUR SOUL OUT.

How was this relevent?
I was constantly asked about myy wife, and I always answered that she was a firey headed soul sucking bitch.

I, ME, finally asked the question, "Wait, you mean that was LITERAL?!"

(GM) "Well, yea, that was her biggest character trait you gave me..."

You know, that's what I love about Naruto. The boundless optimism everyone feels!
