Hes referring to the DC comic book that was recently remade into an animated movie.

I recommend giving it a watch though there are definitely better also as recent DC animated movies.

I'll provide a minimal spoiler version of it though:

Someone someone thinks they can trust betrays that someone, as the name Judas should strongly imply. ;)

She wasn't a traitor. Betraying them would require her to have been on their side at some point.

If we are going to debate definitions, I'm game. :)

Going by a quick Google search, the first definition of "traitor" is"a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc." with "they see me as a traitor, a sellout to the enemy" as the example sentence.

So I looked up "betray" and its first definition is "expose (one's country, a group, or a person) to danger by treacherously giving information to an enemy." with the example sentence of "a double agent who betrayed some 400 British and French agents to the Germans".

I haven't read the comic version. Unless it is supposed to be a (dark) comedy of errors, even if Terra deceived the team and was only a probationary member or even temporary ally, this would be sufficient enough allegiance for her to count as a traitor.

It's why I prefer animated Terra over comic Terra. Animated Terra was remorseful and proved herself good at the end, Comic Terra was a b***h and had no second thoughts.

So its about Teen Titans?

I always wondered why Terra didnt betray Slade at the first chance she got, Its not like she had a bomb inside her skull or something when he made her promise.

Terra was a bitch, plain and simple. Even in the Animated version. Being remorseful doesn't change what she did. She was a interesting character until she betrayed her only friends for no literrally no reasons.

I never read comics so I dont know how that Terra was but I don't really care.

You should probably read the comics or at least a good synopsis of it. Terra's relationship with Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) is of a different nature, one ill-suited for adaptation to the Teen Titans animated series.

They writers did a great job doing what they could do, and I don't know if Terra will be more or less sympathetic knowing how the comics handled it. I tend to lean towards "more" because the story needed her to behave in that manner, even if it made less sense in the animation.
