Due to positive reception, I will be opening the gates for guest comics, but there are some rules.

1. It must be either related to Naruto, or feature the players as characters.

2. It must follow the ComicFury size standards, preferably a 600x800 image.

3. Nothing spiteful or NSFW.

4. Please submit a script before you submit an actual page. Once I approve the script, then submit the page.

I'll keep submissions open until August 26th. My goal is a minimum of three guest submissions, but a maximum of twelve. Once again, I thank you all for your support.

Submit guest comics to flamekingrex66@yahoo.com

I've always wondered why they were there. Well, now I know, and I can also ask why the hell they didn't use those whenever they came up against other people with weapons.

It's simple, it's because he kept missing the skill check because of the depth perception debuff.

I guess that gives us our story time. Tell a story about a time when you had a seemingly useless piece of equipment save you.

Hehehe...

It was a near epic level campaign, the GM told us we could do anything we wanted with the money we got, as long as we followed item creation rules of we made some.

Bad bad judgement on his part...

A the beginning of next game, we discuss what we gotten from the magic item marchand. When My turns come out, I say:

" I got a shield shaped like a dragon scale, reflecting image lik a mirror"

They don't say it but they think I bought a reflection shield, which arent very good by game stardard.

However, during the major big boss fight, the GM overlooked something and it was gonna be a total party kill. Thats when I reveal my ace:

" My shield is in fact a Mirror of Opposition."

For those who dont know, its a broken D&D 3.5 item that should never be in the players hand. I didnt break any rules, since the GMs give us no restrictions.

So yeah, I saved the party... but they still got pissed and I had to leave the party. Ungrateful bastards :-(

GM's damn fault for #1 not restricting what can be made #2 no even checking what the players came up with

Then the players throw a fit instead of dealing with it after game

I will say you should of said exactly what you made but that's minor the fault lies with the GM I say good riddance.

Closest I've got is being 'saved', or at least turning what was meant to be a challenging fight under special restrictions (I.E. 'being hungover' penalties) into a normal fight, by having my character still have some Alchemist's Kindness vials - basically, magical hang-over cure at 1gp per dose (so, about half a day's wage, for a trained worker)
So, essentially, events that don't matter at the moment leads to our characters being essentially 'diplomanced' into drinking too much (it was all roleplayed, we just didn't have any good arguments for refusing (and some of us didn't even try) so it was down to our crappy diplomatic skills) - next day, the GM explains we're all barely able to stand on our feet, and we're woken by what sounds like fighting outside.
A bit of armor-wearing and really quick 'gotta get a couple spells' studies later - I forget why, but I think we knew we'd have at least half an hour to get ready - we're running out there with massive penalties... Except for me, who drank his hang-over cure and immediately felt better.
Of course, I was a spellcaster so it barely mattered (I think I was still weaker than the hybrid, and about as accurate with my crossbow as they'd be), but I'm pretty sure the penalty to Dex would have killed me - especially since I suspect more enemies would have targeted me.
Heck, my two spells, plus change from the day before, didn't even include Mage Armor, so I was working with Dex and some flimsy leather.
